Ticket and Pass Information
What happens if I arrive at the Airshow without a valid car Pass or person Ticket?
Flying Legends tickets are only available in advance and must be pre-booked along with a vehicle pass. It is NOT possible to purchase any tickets on the day. Please only arrive at Sywell Aerodrome if you have a vehicle pass and a ticket for every person in the vehicle.
Do Children need tickets?
Yes. Please select a free ticket for under fives and purchase a discounted ticket for children aged five to sixteen.
Where can I purchase Flying Legends tickets from?
Tickets are available by visiting this website: Tickets - Flying Legends and by clicking on your required ticket.
E-Ticket
For each transaction irrespective of ticket type you will be sent an email containing your e-ticket. This e-ticket permits you access onto site through the dedicated ticket booths. E-Tickets can be presented either in printed format or on your smartphone. For Sky Lounge pass holders you will have dedicated priority check in at this location where you will be issued with your Sky Lounge pass with lanyard. For Flight Lounge guests you will be met by our Flight Lounge Team who allocate your Flight Lounge pass with lanyard on arrival at the enclosure.
Shuttle Bus Service
We are pleased to offer our Flying Legends clients a Free Shuttle Bus service from Wellingborough Rail Station on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th July to Sywell Aerodrome.
We politely ask you to reserve your seat to coincide with your train arrival time at Wellingborough by requesting your seat via email to: boxoffice@flyinglegends.com
When emailing this address to reserve your seat please quote your ticket booking reference number
We will be running the shuttle service from 08.00 and every 30 minutes thereafter until last Shuttle at 12.00. Your airshow E-ticket is your proof of entitlement to travel on this service and will need to be displayed to the bus driver
For returns from Sywell Aerodrome we will be operating the shuttle service commencing at 18.30 and thereafter on a rolling basis until the last shuttle bus departs at 21.45
Please note the transit time has been calculated at 45 minutes.
Complimentary Car Pass and Parking
Vehicle passes are colour coded and valid for your selected day of attendance. Once selected your vehicle pass will be posted to your nominated address. Please follow signage to 'MAIN CAR PARKS'. Please note that Main Car Parks are in undulating grass fields. Second Class Post & Package will be added to your shopping basket before check out.
Flight Lounge & Sky Lounge Parking
Priority VIP Parking for guests attending in either the Flight Lounge or Sky Lounge is available based on your request at the time of your booking. Please follow signage to SKY LOUNGE and / or FLIGHT LOUNGE VIP dependant on pass ordered.
Accessible / Disabled Parking
Dedicated parking for our guests in receipt of a Blue or international equivalent are limited and only available at time of purchasing your required Flying Legends ticket. Please NOTE that although the parking is on the main Sywell Aerodrome site it is a coarse gravel area. Parking is extremely limited so these can only be booked by calling +441312260008. An E-Ticket checkpoint will be located in this area. The aerodrome site is mainly on grass, there is no dedicated enclosure for wheelchair users. Please note it is not possible to hire a wheelchair or mobility scooter.
Guests arriving by taxi or on foot
Guests arriving by taxi will be dropped off to the left of the accessible / disabled parking area. E-Ticket Pass checkpoint will be located at this point - available also for people arriving on foot.
Complimentary Flight Line Walk
The Flight Line walk which is complimentary to ALL Flying Legends visitors will be open from 09.00am to 12.00pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The aircraft will be parked on grass and therefore accessibility may not suit all.
Lost or mislaid E-Ticket confirmation

Motorbike Parking
Motorcycle parking will be available at Flying Legends 2021. Please be sure to follow road signage for direction for motorcycles as this will ensure you arrive at the correct access point.
Bicycle Parking
Bike racks will be provided in the general car park. Bicycle parkers are reminded to remove all valuables and properly secure (lock) their bicycle in the bicycle racks provided.
Coach / Group Bookings
Groups of 10 or more can be booked by calling the Flying Legends Box Office on +441312260008.
Can I bring folding chairs to the airshow?
You are welcome to bring a folding chair to the event. Please note it is not permissible to erect any structures, including wind breaks, gazebos etc anywhere on the site.
Catering on Site
There will be a range of vintage themed food and drink concessions available throughout the site available from 09.00 to 21.45 on Saturday and Sunday. The Aviator bar and restaurant will be operational during the airshow weekend.
Vintage entertainment
During the mornings of the airshow we have a host of complimentary attractions for you to view, ranging from live music, re-enactment groups to exhibitors and traders.
Wing to Wing with a Spitfire Pleasure Flying
With our colleagues “The Blades” we are delighted to announce that there will be an opportunity to book a “Wing to Wing” pleasure flight with The Blades flying alongside a Spitfire. This is an optional extra and MUST be booked in advance and has very limited availability.

Wifi
Free WIFI will be available across most of the site (excluding car parks)
Programmes
Flying Legends Souvenir programmes will be available to purchase from roving sellers across the site during the airshow weekend at £8.00.
Toilet Facilities
Additional Toilet facilities including disabled will be located throughout the main aerodrome site.
Pets
Do not bring animals to the event, assistance dogs excepted. (Animals left in vehicles will be liberated.)
